On September 29, 2007, Fenway Properties joined over 500 local San Diego developers, architects, contractors, brokers, and business owners to build homes for low-income Mexican families through an annual event known as Baja Challenge. Not only did this group construct 52 homes in one day, they broke the world record for building the largest number of homes in the shortest amount of time. Founded in 2000, Baja Challenge works with Project Mercy to improve basic living standards and quality of life for impoverished families in East Tijuana. Fenway's Construction Manager Devin Beale is on the Baja Challenge Board. For more details and/or to learn how you can join us next year, visit the official Baja Challenge website.
